Having started his official matches at the position of a Right Fullback, he managed to advance to a Central Forward in the last two seasons becoming a top 3 striker in the First League of Ukrainian Youth Championship in a row. Kornii has a good touch on the ball and reads the game well finding space and being able to read the minds of defenders and is active in pressing forward and being aggressive and technical on the ball. He has a keen last pass and controls the ball well.

Born in Obolon neighborhood of the capital Kyiv city, Kornii joined Zmina-Obolon Kyiv, A School of Olympic Preparation Reserve at the age of 6. It is a Youth academy of FC Obolon playing in the Ukrainian Premier League. He managed to become a main squad player between 6 teams of the same age. Kornii started playing in the Youth Elite League at the age of 13 as a R/L fullback. Having good control of the ball and being goal-oriented, he managed to change his position to a midfielder and later on a striker. That gives him quite an advantage, as he understands the defender mindset and with his creativity manages to find space to press forward and score.
Achievements: 2d place in the Elite League of Ukrainian Youth Premier League in Central Ukraine Zone, awarded the 2nd State Youth Sportsmanship Professional Degree, a winner of International Tournament Kresy in Poland, winner of an international tournament in Belarus

Training with a first squad of U-17 and U-19. FC Kolos plays in the Top Youth League of the Ukrainian Football Association and owns Youth Football Academy in Kyiv
